Moyra qualified from Glasgow in 2000 and went on to work in the Oral and Maxillofacial surgery dept of Monklands hospital for 2 years. Since buying the practice in 2006, Moyra has completed post graduate courses including IV sedation, Facial Aesthetics and cosmeceuticals, Straumann Implant placement and restoration in 2010 and advanced restorative/cosmetic dentistry with Monik Vasant and Paul Tipton. Moyra works at Care Dental Implant clinic to surgically place implants and completes the restoration of implants here in Biggar. In her spare time Moyra enjoys family life, baking and creating art pieces. 

Lianne joined the practice as a trainee nurse in 2004, over the years Lianne has qualified in dental nursing, oral health education, dental radiography, Childsmile, homeopathy, suture removal and Practice Management. She has completed training in London for IV sedation and Implantology nursing. Currently a member of a Practice Managers Club, Lianne is always looking for ways to adapt and improve the practice and encourage our staff to reach their full potential. Away from work Lianne spends time with family and friends, loves to shop, watching rugby and attending agricultural and country events over the summer.

Megan joined the team as an associate dentist in 2018 after graduating from Glasgow University in 2017. Megan has developed a passion for cosmetic treatments, completing post graduate training in Invisalign, composite bonding with Dr Monik Vasant in London and most recently Facial Aesthetics. Outside of the practice Megan enjoys weight training in the gym, socialising with friends or travelling to sunnier climates.

Sadie began her career as a Dental Nurse in 2004, going on to study and qualify as a dental hygienist in 2010. Sadie worked in Edinburgh before joining Biggar Dental Practice in 2020. In her spare time Sadie enjoys spending time with her young family and going for walks with her cocker spaniel Rudy.

Sharon has been part of the BDP team since 2013. Having completed an HND in 2019, Sharon is an Extended Duty Dental Nurse qualified to take x-rays, give OHI and use our intra oral scanner amongst other things. Sharon is also our Treatment Co-Ordinator, on hand to help patients understand their treatment options and carry out some of the assessments required. Sharon loves to socialise with friends and family, dining out and listening to music.

Kirsty has been a dental nurse for 36 years and has worked in Glasgow for most of her Career. She joined Biggar Dental Practice in October 2021. Kirsty has 3 sons and 2 St Bernard dogs. She enjoys walking in her spare time.

Hanna joined our team in October 2021 and completed her HNC in dental nursing in August 2022. Hanna looks forward to expanding her education in dental nursing in the future. Hanna enjoys hiking Munros and reading.
