Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

Wrinkle reduction injections are used to smooth the lines of facial expression we all end up with, giving a more rejuvenated look! Botulinum Toxin (a naturally occurring protein) is injected using a fine needle into the target muscle. This blocks the nerve signal which stimulates muscle contraction, resulting in weakening of the muscle which improves the appearance of lines. Lines and wrinkles that are present at rest, generally do not improve with anti wrinkle injections. It is best suited to the treatment of dynamic lines (lines produced on movement). The most common areas treated are: forehead, frown and around side of the eyes. It is generally not a painful experience, but there may be mild discomfort.

Lip Fillers

Lip Fillers use a clear gel like substance, consisting of Hyaluronic Acid. Hyaluronic Acid is a substance naturally produced by skin cells to keep the skin hydrated and plump. When injected, they boost the skins volume so that the area becomes revitalised and fuller. Adding volume enhances their fullness, improves hydration, corrects any asymmetries, provides greater definition and shape to create a more desired appearance. It is administered using a small needle or cannula, or both. A topical anesthetic is applied to the lips to provide pain relief. There are many different brands of filler available within the UK, and we only utilise research based products with a good safety profile.
